[edit] Farfalle Stars

Description-

Farfalle inserts (plural for the Italian farfalla), called butterflies in English, are constructed identically to hummers, except the two holes are drilled at the same time, on opposite sides of the tube, straight through the center of the tube. This results in a butterfly-shaped spark spray which causes the inserts to wobble and spin erratically as they fly through the air.

[edit] Materials-

Paper tube

Meal Powder

Titanium

Bentonite Clay

[edit] Procedure

1). Make your propellant which in this example consists of Meal powder with 20-40% Titanium Powder.

2). Now cut your paper tube in to a desired length (1-1 1/2"), and ram an endplug into your tube with bentonite clay.

3). Press (do not ram) your Ti/Meal powder composition into the tube but leave 1cm of space on top for another plug. Like before ram another plug on top.

[edit] Fusing

After ramming , drill a small hole all the way through the tube and insert Black match that will stick out about 1"

These can be used in Larger canister shells to create a "swimming" effect that looks beautiful. I give all credit to Eckick1 for this Tutorial.
